Agbalo Bridge, Pontevedra, Capiz |
If you're from Roxas City or town of Panay, you'll welcomed by the bridge that connects the northern portion of the municipality and the town proper. It's a nice spot for picture taking because of its eye-catching truss that gives the beauty to the infrastructure.

With just few walks down from the bridge, the municipal hall, the public plaza and the public market lie on it. They are situated aside from each other. The straight road from the bridge is where the Parish Church of Saint Isidore is situated. It is under renovation with its modern design. During market days (Monday and Friday) the municipality is busy that the idiom "di mahulugang karayom" become literal because there are so many people busy buying foods. There are some that still practice "barters" or the exchanging of goods. I still remember about five years ago that I made barter my product to a vegetables. The people residing from the coastal barangays went off the shore and people coming from mountainous area of the municipality went down to the town to buy their necessities for the whole week.

Maribert Inland Resort, Lantangan, Pontevedra, Capiz |
Maribert Inland Resort will also a great destination for you. It is about 10 kilometers away from town proper. It has hotels and pools with one of the tallest slides in the province. What I really like at this resort is their landscaping. Before the entry to the pool, you will pass at their garden. I really enjoyed swimming because there's a pail-like above the slide that pours water. I once tried sliding and never had a chance to slide again because I'm afraid of it's too tall slide but the others enjoyed by the way.
